Pear compote - the receipe that you must try!
Pears are extremely healthy for us for many reasons. They contain vitamins C and K, as well as copper, which are strong antioxidants, keeping the cells of free radicals.
This fruit has great benefits on our heart. Studies showed that there are fibers in the pear which can lower the bad cholesterol, but they also prevent from cancer. Due to the fibers and the low glycemic index they help in control of diabetes.
Pears are considered to be a secure fruit, because they belong to the hypoallergenic group of fruits, which means they can cause allergy rarely.
1 tablespoon lemon juice
50 g sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
60 ml water
Mix all ingredients (except the water) in a bowl and mix them well.
Cook on low heat constantly mixing (about 3 minutes)
Increase the heat to medium-high, add the water and mix for additional 15 minutes.
Leave the compote to cool and put it in a glass bottle, then in the fridge.
