Fibers are important
It is believed that the feeling you have in the morning will follow you through the day. So, if you decide that you are going to start your day with a healthy meal then you will probably end up the day with another healthy meal. Do you know how much fiber you take each day? Many people don’t manage getting the recommended fiber input of 25 g per day. Most of us get only about 14 g fibers a day, which means that we don’t enjoy the health benefits that fibers provide.
It is important to know these three facts about fiber:
Fibers are essential for healthy diet. They are inseparable part of vegetables, fruits, grains and cereals. Foods, such as meat, fish or poultry do not contain fibers.
Fibers stimulate the digestion. If you make sure your breakfast contains plenty of fibers, you’ll probably be able to consume the recommended daily amount of 25 g by the end of the day.
There are 2 types of fibers: soluble and insoluble. The soluble fibers dissolve in water, while, the insoluble fibers absorb water and increase the volume of the food we digest, which contributes to the digestion itself.
So try to begin the day with a healthy meal full of fibers. However, keep in mind that consuming too much fiber can have a negative effect, making you feel uncomfortable. That’s why you should slowly increase the intake of fibers, giving your body time to adjust.
